Article Marketing

There is only one reason to write and submit articles and that is to get people to visit your website through the backlink that you insert into your articles. Now don’t be afraid of writing articles. Articles are very important to achieving success in your online business. Don’t worry; you won’t be writing novels, but only articles which have 400-600 words.

There are two approaches when it comes to writing and submitting articles, some mass produce, low quality articles hoping that the sheer quantity will drive traffic to their website. My approach is low quantity high quality.

Now some of you may be thinking that article marketing isn’t worth the time or that it is not cutting edge and probably obsolete. But let me just tell you that article marketing is without a doubt a must. You will regret your decision if you don’t implement this free tool.

The Foundation of Article Marketing

Article marketing is more than just writing and submitting. You must create the article so it will not only be on the internet, but convert readers into customers when they click your backlink taking them to your website.

Here is basic theory of article marketing:

Placing articles where they can be found. Submit them to high ranking article directories

How to Write Keyword Emphasized Articles

You will need to place, hot keywords, into your article. Google is smart, they are too smart if you ask me, so if you jam you article full of keywords Google will penalize you. They will recognize that your content doesn’t make sense and your Google ranking will suffer dramatically.

It is suggested that your keyword density (how many keywords per 100 words total) shall range between 1 - 3%. By following this 1 -3% rule, your article should flow when read. Try your best; the closer you come to the keyword density range the more likely your article will be found and used by Google.

Attention Getting Headlines

The headline or title is one of the most important parts of your article. It will be the first thing read either at your actual article or on a Google search page.

You really need to take your time when creating your Headline. You will not be able to change it once you submit your article. However, if you do mess up or realize that your headline is lacking, just submit another article using your revised headline.

I would start creating your headline by thinking about what your audience will be searching for and how it pertains to your article. What would you have to search for to find your article? Make a list of your results and use them all. You can make minor tweaks within your article, thus creating a new article and headline to submit.

You will need to do some testing to see what words work best. You need to write lots of articles to find out what words make your reader become customers. Use headlines that contain the following:

Ask your reader things like “Do You Want To…, Learn How To…, etc?”
You could also make lists like Top 5…, etc.
Make them think by using words like You Can’t…, Coming Soon…, It’s Easy To…,etc.

Remember, your article must first grab attention, then build interest, and then make the sale using your backlink.

Crafting the Article Body

Knowing that your article’s primary purpose is to lead the reader through your article, to the most important backlink, sending them to your website where they will become a customer. To do this, you must maintain reader interest and pre-sell them on your backlink.

The Resource Box

This is where your conclusion goes along with your back link. You conclusion must always be with your backlink. When the reader has been successfully guided through your article, you must have a call to action statement in your resource box. You can use a variety of call to action statements like:

“If you want more information, visit “your website, blog, squidoo lens URL, etc.
“If you want to learn more, visit

Hello everyone, my name is Jaime and I am here to submit my review of an online home-based business called "Acme People Search". My goal is to find out if Acme People Search will back-up everything they offer and promise.

I started my research by clicking this link, http://easypeoplesearching.com/tissa.htm This link took me to an information page about the company. Here are the highlights of what I found to be interesting reading:

Affiliate Marketing Program

The company offers an Affiliate Marketing program. I love affiliate marketing! However, there are thousands of them out there and most are complete ripoffs. I am currently involved in several affiliate programs so I know how to spot a scam. Just in case you don't know what affiliate marketing is, I will explain. Basically you will be marketing someones product or system and in turn you will be paid a commission for each sale. Affiliate marketing is an awesome way to earn income online.

Proof of Earnings

Next, on the information page, you are shown how much money the creator of this program made in one year. He has posted his IRS 1099 form and it shows he made $2.2 million in commissions from one affiliate. Not bad. He also explains that it did cost him $600,000 in advertising to do that. He also offers to show you his 1099 in person if you live in his area of the country.

I had no reason to doubt this information. The willingness to show me his 1099 form leaves little doubt that he did make this much.

Free People Search Engine

So how did he make so much money? He built a niche search engine around a hugely popular topic, "people searching". One-third of all Google and Yahoo searches are related to people searching. At first, I wasn't clear how he could possibly make money from a search engine. The only way would be to charge people to use it. Who would do that? As I read on, he cleared everything up. Users are not charged anything for doing a basic people search. There are additional people search options they can use, for more extensive information, which they will be charged for. You can search people by name, phone number or SSN. You can also perform background checks and find email addresses. So every time a user searches the people search website, a commission is paid. I thought this was probably the most ingenious affiliate market strategy that I had ever heard about. One-third of all Google and Yahoo searches are related to people searches! That is huge.

For You It Is Free

Now here is where it got interesting. He says that he will GIVE you your own niche people search engine identical to his. Now when someone "gives" you something, that means it is FREE! When I read that, I was thinking, "why would someone share this with others?" He shortly answered my question by explaining that when you make money he makes money. OK, I can understand that. If I have something that would make me more money just by sharing it with others, I would definitely do it.

So he gives you a niche people search engine identical to his and all you have to do is drive traffic to it and collect hefty commissions. That is easy! I will be posting later about how to drive traffic to a website for free. I only advertise for free. There are so many ways to do this and it won't cost you a dime.

Unheard Of!

So as I was doing my review, I personally started getting a little excited about this program, but I wanted to keep a level head so I wouldn't distort my review. I had a very difficult time doing this while I was reading the next paragraph on his information page; it says that not only is he going to give you your own free people search engine, but he will also advertise for you for free on Google and Yahoo and give you at least $125 in free commissions! I was shocked and didn't understand why anyone would do this. He explains that he wants to prove to you that you can make money using his program. I was going to have to see this free $125 to believe it.

Realistic Income

Next on the information page he lets you know that you won't make millions of dollars using his program like he does. I give him a lot of credit for saying this. When I hear anyone tell me how I will become a million if I use there program, I automatically know it's a scam. He does give you a realistic income range of a couple of thousand dollars a month. I don't know about you, but I can always use two or three thousand extra dollars per month.

You Don't Have To Be An Expert

Finally he tells you that you do not need any special skills or experience to use his program. Now that is important to me. Even though I am familiar with affiliate marketing, I still consider myself to be a novice.

The Results

I was very impressed with the information page, but now needed to find out if all of this was true. So, I signed up (All it took was a name and email address). It was completely free so why not try it. I received an email not long after with a link to my back office where I could find my free people search engine website and all of my training.

I can't explain the amount of resources this program offers. Everything that you need to learn and succeed is here. In addition, you will also have an opportunity to sign up for a total of eight different income streams that you can use to make some serious money online.
