Article Marketing

There is only one reason to write and submit articles and that is to get people to visit your website through the backlink that you insert into your articles. Now don’t be afraid of writing articles. Articles are very important to achieving success in your online business. Don’t worry; you won’t be writing novels, but only articles which have 400-600 words.

There are two approaches when it comes to writing and submitting articles, some mass produce, low quality articles hoping that the sheer quantity will drive traffic to their website. My approach is low quantity high quality.

Now some of you may be thinking that article marketing isn’t worth the time or that it is not cutting edge and probably obsolete. But let me just tell you that article marketing is without a doubt a must. You will regret your decision if you don’t implement this free tool.

The Foundation of Article Marketing

Article marketing is more than just writing and submitting. You must create the article so it will not only be on the internet, but convert readers into customers when they click your backlink taking them to your website.

Here is basic theory of article marketing:

How to Write Keyword Emphasized Articles

You will need to place, hot keywords, into your article. Google is smart, they are too smart if you ask me, so if you jam you article full of keywords Google will penalize you. They will recognize that your content doesn’t make sense and your Google ranking will suffer dramatically.

It is suggested that your keyword density (how many keywords per 100 words total) shall range between 1 - 3%. By following this 1 -3% rule, your article should flow when read. Try your best; the closer you come to the keyword density range the more likely your article will be found and used by Google.

Attention Getting Headlines

The headline or title is one of the most important parts of your article. It will be the first thing read either at your actual article or on a Google search page.

You really need to take your time when creating your Headline. You will not be able to change it once you submit your article. However, if you do mess up or realize that your headline is lacking, just submit another article using your revised headline.

I would start creating your headline by thinking about what your audience will be searching for and how it pertains to your article. What would you have to search for to find your article? Make a list of your results and use them all. You can make minor tweaks within your article, thus creating a new article and headline to submit.

You will need to do some testing to see what words work best. You need to write lots of articles to find out what words make your reader become customers. Use headlines that contain the following:

Ask your reader things like “Do You Want To…, Learn How To…, etc?”
You could also make lists like Top 5…, etc.
Make them think by using words like You Can’t…, Coming Soon…, It’s Easy To…,etc.

Remember, your article must first grab attention, then build interest, and then make the sale using your backlink.

Crafting the Article Body

Knowing that your article’s primary purpose is to lead the reader through your article, to the most important backlink, sending them to your website where they will become a customer. To do this, you must maintain reader interest and pre-sell them on your backlink.

The Resource Box

This is where your conclusion goes along with your back link. You conclusion must always be with your backlink. When the reader has been successfully guided through your article, you must have a call to action statement in your resource box. You can use a variety of call to action statements like:

“If you want more information, visit “your website, blog, squidoo lens URL, etc.
“If you want to learn more, visit
